Looking for an excuse for your child to have some time away from phones, tablets, and other distractions? Pine Cove is a "phone-free" camp–including our staff! So instead of turning to social media, text messages, or other outside voices, they'll be able to focus on building connections with new friends, learning about the truth of the Gospel, and being mentored by our Jesus-loving college staffers. Annelise "Smilin'" Morrison graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Elementary Education. She served on summer staff at Silverado for three years before joining the full-time team in 2019. Annelise has held the roles of Women's Director and Associate Director, and in 2023 she took on a new one: Silverado Camp Director!
Dax “Hook Line and Keeper” McKee joined Pine Cove full-time staff in 2021 after working four summers on staff at the Ridge and graduating from the University of Houston with a degree in Business Management. He has previously served as the Men’s Director at the Ridge before becoming the Associate Director at Silverado. He and his wife Stephanie got married in 2022.
After serving four summers on staff at Silverado, Kylie "Bonsho" Witcher, joined the full-time team as Women's Director. Originally from Cullman, Alabama, Kylie graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Elementary Education.
Marc “Captain Frog Hook” Wood joined Pine Cove full-time staff in 2023 as the Silverado Men’s Director after serving three summers on summer staff. Marc is from Belton, Texas but found his way to Texas A&M where he graduated with a degree in Business Management. He and his wife, Rachel, got married in 2022.

Such a great—and tough—question! As you know, kids grow and mature at different rates, hitting various milestones at different times. We don’t have an online schedule for you to see, as different camps (and even different days) have a tendency to vary a bit. But here’s an idea of the flow of a typical day at youth camp: Flag and quiet time before breakfast, followed by Bible study and a few activities. Then it’s time for lunch, FOB (rest time), and more activities! After some free time, it’s dinner, that evening’s theme night, a snack, Club, and then bedtime. We make sure campers get about 7-8 hours of sleep each night so they’re ready for another full day of camp in the morning!
