Designed for 10th – 12th grade students, the Shores features counselors your high schooler will actually find interesting, amazing dance parties, and an opportunity to grow closer to God. At the Shores, we say things like go karts, waverunners, high ropes, warball, giant pool with blob and trapeze. Sometimes one week of camp just isn't enough—that's where our two-week camp sessions come in! These incredible programs give campers a unique and exclusive experience of extra time with their favorite activities and counselors, all of the seriously fun theme nights, and additional special events designed specifically for our two-week campers. So instead of turning to social media, text messages, or other outside voices, they'll be able to focus on building connections with new friends, learning about the truth of the Gospel, and being mentored by our Jesus-loving college staffers. Taylor “Fish Face” Jervis was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. He worked four summers at the Pine Cove Ranch before joining the full-time Bluffs staff in 2011. Two years later, Taylor accepted the role of Men’s Director at the Shores. He served as the Shores Director from 2015 to 2024, and is now the Vice President of Youth Camping. He and his wife, Lacey, have two daughters and a son.
Hayden “Mr. Polar Behr” Weaver spent three summers on staff at the Shores before joining the full-time Pine Cove City team as a Site Director. In the fall of 2021 he transitioned back to the Shores as the Men’s Director, and in 2024 he accepted the role as Camp Director. Hayden is from Conway, Arkansas and graduated from the University of Central Arkansas.
Miranda “Treat Yo Self” Simiyu joined the full-time Pine Cove staff in 2020 after completing the Forge discipleship program and serving five summers at the Shores. She graduated with a degree in Journalism from Baylor University. Miranda and her husband, Derrick, got married in March of 2024.
Avery "Queen Juice" Harlan served for four summers on staff at the Shores before spending a year as a site director for Pine Cove City. She graduated from Baylor University in 2019 and completed the Pine Cove Forge leadership program in 2020. Avery and her husband, Landon, got married in April of 2023.
Lane “Taco Bell” Bloomer served three years on summer staff at the Shores before graduating from Abilene Christian University with a degree in Biblical Studies & Christian Ministry. He joined the full-time team at the Shores in 2024 as the Men’s Director. Lane and his wife Lainey, are got in June of 2024.

We don’t have an online schedule for you to see, as different camps (and even different days) have a tendency to vary a bit. But here’s an idea of the flow of a typical day at youth camp: Flag and quiet time before breakfast, followed by Bible study and a few activities. Then it’s time for lunch, FOB (rest time), and more activities! After some free time, it’s dinner, that evening’s theme night, a snack, Club, and then bedtime. We make sure campers get about 7-8 hours of sleep each night so they’re ready for another full day of camp in the morning!
The biggest difference is the gift of extra time with their counselor and cabin mates to create a deeper community and friendship. Additionally, two-week campers get to attend exclusive speakers and worship sessions. Plus, with unique theme nights and bible studies, campers will get a new experience each day! It’s possible, since we do have a few cancellations during the spring, but we encourage you to also find an available week so you make sure you have a spot. You can be registered for a session and on a waitlist at the same time, and if you get off the waitlist, you have the option to switch over!
