Pine Cove: Packing for Camp

Shores Packing List

Please pack all the camper's items in a trunk (like this one) or one large container. Luggage should be under 15 inches tall so it fits under the bunk bed. Many campers like to decorate their trunks!

Want to skip the packing hassle? Order an Essentials Kit! These kits come with over 20 branded items straight from this list - just add clothes and you're ready to go.

  • Shirts: 8 All shirts should be loose fitting and not tight. Tank tops must have straps three fingers wide and cover all undergarments. No racer-back, see-through, ribbed or spaghetti-strap tanks. No crop tops (no stomach shown when arms are raised).
  • Shorts: 6 Must be knuckle length. No skirts, exercise dresses, or biker/spandex shorts (impractical for activities and you sometimes stand on chairs or ladders). No butterfly-style shorts. Girls will need one pair of athletic shorts (no buttons or zippers) to wear with their swimsuit.
  • Swimsuits: 2 For girls, a modest one-piece swimsuit without cutouts, or a rashguard with athletic shorts. All girls are required to wear athletic shorts (no buttons or zippers) with their swimsuits at all water activities (no rashburn here!). For boys, no speedos or jammers. This is for the comfort, safety, and modesty of all campers at all pool and lake activities. All campers must wear shirts over swimwear to and from water activities.
